A good belly rub from Mom takes
all the worries away (Dec 2003)

Riot was my first show dog. When I went to pick my puppy out, I initially wanted a girl - but Riot won me over by giving me kisses. I learned a lot of things with Riot and was very proud when I finished him. He was specialed briefly and then I decided to neuter him. It became apparent to me that Riot did not enjoy being a stay at home dog while mom took others to the shows. So, I finally made the decision to place him in a companion home. Riot is now in a home with a new mom and dad and some kitty brother & sisters up near Dallas. Mom works from home mostly, so Riot is getting all the attention he wants. His new dad loves wrestling and playing chase with him. Riot also has some new cousins to play with - they are a little bit on the small side (dachshund X chihuahua mixes), but Riot likes being the TOP Dog :) Riot has a new morning routine - he gets to go with a walk with Mom & Dad and then at the very end he gets to go sit in the lake and play in it :) He's loving life!
Riot was traveling
Christmas 2003 with Mom and Dad all the way to California. He
loves
being in the car and going places. Riot decided to have a little
adventure in California. He went visiting the neighbors while Mom
& Dad were out. Thankfully, the neighbors were dog lovers and
they called AKC Companion Animal Recovery Program (Home Again
microchip)
from the tag on his collar to find his owners. I received a call
that Riot was lost in California. While I was frantically
wondering
how to get Riot back to Texas because I didn't have his Mom & Dad's
contact information in California - I was able to get a hold of the
people
that found him. They found where Riot belonged and he was safely
returned. Please make sure your dogs have their collars and tags
on when ever you take them somewhere.

Chance was the serious puppy. He enjoyed watching the world go by. He would fall asleep outside of the ring while we waited to go in. Chance had 7 points when I decided to place him. Chance is living with his new dad up in Kingsland, Texas. He's enjoying the high life being with his new dad, kids and grandkids. He gets all the attention and had trained his new dad well.
